Who the Hell are Our Untold Story!?

Our untold Story is the phoenix rising from the ashes from a medley of earlier projects.

Xander and Oscar met in high school where they formed skate punk band “The Upkeeps” and played together in the original line up for 3 years before Xander moved to the UK to study Music Tech and Media. Oscar now studies at Stockholm music college: Kulturama.

Johan began his music career as the bassist in local Stockholm metal band  ”Skr8″. He met Xander through a mutual friend and began to jam and write songs together drawing from influences such as metalica and Black sabbath.

The band was now a lovely little trio, but Xander bless him, can only play about 4 chords on guitar and write simple melodies for the rest of the band to build on and expand into the songs you guys finally get to hear. So we needed a guitarist.. Johan and Xander had previously had the idea of asking friends Kedar and Mamud to jam, so the natural thought was get them to join the band. With both of their blues and jazz backgrounds and technical finger work they were sure to add a delicious spice to the mix and give us the sound we were after.

So that’s the basics.

We have Oscar that pounds away keeping us all tight and in time with his wonderful and rhythmic drumming, accompanied by the swinging grooves of Johan’s funky fingering on bass. The tasty solo’s and technical fretboard W*n*ing of Mamud are the cherry on top of the personal and playful lyrics that pour out of Xander’s pen on to paper and finally out of his lungs and into your ears! Then of course we have you guys, the heart and soul of Our Untold Story, because with out you guys we would forever be an untold story..

So keep spreading the word and keeping it fresh and tasty as you get down and dirty on our journey through the chapters!
